The AAU Participates in the “Hand Print” Activity which Tkiyet Umm Ali Organizes
The AAU hosted the “Hand Print Race” activity which Tkiyet Umm Ali organizes with its partners in universities and schools. These activities aim to highlight the issue of hunger and undernourishment in Jordan. The University students expressed their moral and material support for the exerted efforts of Tkiyet Umm Ali in combating hunger and malnutrition in Jordan as part of the Sustainable Food Support Programs which are provided to its beneficiaries in various governorates in the Kingdom. A number of students took part in a relay race which ended by putting their handprints on a plate in order to confirm their absolute faith in Tkiyet Umm Ali whose goal is to declare Jordan as a zone free of hunger. Nowadays, Tkiyet Umm Ali delivers the monthly food support to 30.000 families living below the food poverty line throughout the Kingdom governorates monthly and annually. The food packages of goodness include twenty two items of food that meet the nutrition needs of the families throughout the month.
