The AAU Organizes A Workshop on the “ Techniques of Eye Examination”

On the occasion of the World Sight Day and by the initiatives of the World Health Organization and the World Optics Council, the AAU’s Optics Department organized a workshop on “the Techniques of Eye Examination” in the Optics Lab. In the workshop, Dr. Younes Dudeen, the President of the East Mediterranean Council for Optics (EMCO), focused on the importance of early eye examination to prevent blindness, poor vision and its causes and methods of treatment. He also raised students’ awareness and encouraged them to participate in the future vision campaigns to be held in the schools which the University cadre visits annually.
