The AAU Organizes a Solidarity Stand with the Al-Aqsa Mosque

The AAU students organized yesterday a solidarity stand with the Noble Al-Aqsa Mosque and to support the steadfastness of our people in Jerusalem who confront the violations imposed on them during the latest actions of the Israeli aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque and the people of the city. The stand which was attended by deans of faculties, directors and employees of University departments along with a big number of students embraced poems, cheers for Muslims all over the world encouraging them to uphold and defend their rights in Al-Aqsa Mosque (the first distention and the third noble place of worship for Muslims) and called for the safety of Al-Aqsa and the security of Jordan. The AAU President, Prof. Sadeq Hamed along with all University faculty and staff members and students supported our people in the sacred city in rejecting the Israeli continuous violation against our sons in the noble Jerusalem and in the West Bank and called for unity and solidarity to restore the usurped rights. Furthermore, Prof. Hamed pointed out that the Israeli Occupation is wrong in his belief that he will win this battle, forgetting that armies do not break the will of people. Prof. Hamed also rejected the Israeli Occupation practices in Al-Aqsa Mosque such as desecrating and closing it and condemned the Israeli aggressive actions which violate all international laws regarding the sacred sites. The AAU President expressed his respect for the great role that Jordan performs under the leadership of his Majesty the King and for the King’s defense of all Islamic and Christian sites in the Noble Jerusalem which is in line with the Hashemite trusteeship of Al-Aqsa Mosque. He commended the great efforts of his Majesty the King in restoring and opening the noble Al-Aqsa Mosque for prayers.
