The AAU Holds A Forum in Baghdad to Acquaint Students with the University
The AAU in cooperation with the “Your Guide for University Services” Center, the official agent for the University, held a forum in Baghdad to acquaint students with University services and programs. The meeting was attended by a large number of students who are interested in studying in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The meeting was managed by Dr. Ghaleb Erekat, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Director of Admission and Registration Department in the University. Dr. Erekat delivered a speech and said that “the AAU represents the first choice for Iraqi Students”. He added that “eight hundred Iraqi students are registered in the AAU’s Faculty of Pharmacy which is considered the largest Pharmacy Faculty among Jordanian private universities”. He also said that “the AAU coordinates with Iraqi Embassy in Jordan to direct Iraqi students to our college. This is due to the high scientific standards of the University which is the first private university in the Middle East and the Arab region”. The accompanying delegation spoke about the specializations offered in the University and the other services that help students in their study. At the end, the delegation distributed brochures, printed materials and souvenirs for the attendees.
