The AAU Holds A Course in “Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation”

The Deanship of Student Affairs in the AAU in cooperation with the Jordan Kuwait Bank organized a training course in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). This course was performed by the US team “Heroes for Hearts” whose headquarter is in Washington.The course was performed in three phases for a number of students and members of the academic and administrative staffs. One hundred and fifty participants received basic skills in the cardiopulmonary resuscitation for drowning, traffic accidents and suffocation cases in addition to different cases of apnea. Moreover, participants were trained on skills performed by a manual aider in a way that keeps the brain functions intact until further measures are taken to restore blood circulation and breathing which are necessary to save a life of an injured person till an ambulance team arrives. At the end of the activity, the US team handed over certificates to the participants.
