The AAU Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Science Meets with the New Students
The AAU’s Deanship of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences held a meeting with the new students on Thursday, 2/11/2017.The Vice Dean, Dr. Numan Khalaf commenced the meeting by introducing students to the Faculty different departments and talking about the rights, the obligations and the services provided to students. Then, Dr. Hasan Mutti, the Dean’s Assistant for Pharmacist Training, explained in detail the requirements of pharmacist training and responded to all students’ inquiries related to training. On her part, Dr. Nagham Hameed, who is member of the Supreme Committee for Co-Curricular Activities and Community Services in the University greeted and welcomed the new students and congratulated them for joining the University. She also confirmed that the University has always been proactive in crystallizing the concept of community services by activating the University role in co-curricular activities and by supporting voluntary campaigns which aim to solve the community problems, issues, aspirations and expectations because the University is concerned with the community development. Dr. Nagham also urged students to join voluntary work because students’ activities in this regard would develop their personalities and employ their energies in what is fruitful and useful to them. At the end of her talk, she expressed her desire and happiness to support and adopt students’ ideas, contributions and innovations in order to achieve the University supreme mission and to fulfill the advancement of society.
