The AAU Faculty of Nursing Organizes An Awareness Campaign on the Seasonal Influenza

In the framework of the communal responsibility, the AAU Faculty of Nursing endeavors to raise the pace of health awareness among the various segments of society. Thus, the Faculty organized an awareness campaign on the seasonal influenza on Monday, 30/12/2019. The Faculty hosted Dr. Bassam Al-Hijjawi, An Epidemiological Consultant at the Ministry of Health and the Director of the Public Health Association. Dr. Al-Hijjawi talked about the disease, its causes, and ways to prevent it. Dr. Ahmed Al-Bashayra of the AAU Faculty of Nursing shed light on the role of nursing in disease prevention and stressed the importance of following the international standards for the purpose of limiting its spread.
