The AAU Faculty of Nursing Organizes A Meeting with the Academic & Administrative Staffs

The Dean of the AAU Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Amal Daghestani, met with members of the academic & administrative staffs in the Faculty on Thursday, 29/2/2018. This meeting was held to honor the former Dean for her exerted efforts and to thank members of the academic & administrative staffs.The Dean began the meeting by talking about several axes the most important of which are the priorities of the Faculty for the next stage in the scientific research to achieve the Local & International Certificate of Quality and to achieve advanced ranks in the University Proficiency Exam. Moreover, she emphasized the importance of establishing communication with the community by organizing lectures, seminars and workshops. She also urged the faculty members to increase their scientific production and to use the available facilities provided by the University to enhance scientific research. She also commented on the importance of achieving quality and the responsibility of individuals to achieve excellence. She clarified the general policy of work and the core values of the teamwork to achieve transparency, positive energy, teamwork spirit and concentration on goals. She also discussed creating a distinctive identity for students through using the open door policy, holding curricular and co-curricular activities and motivating students to achieve outstanding results in the University Proficiency Exam. The Dean also explained that the Faculty seeks to develop the curricula and methods of teaching which contribute in strengthening the interest in the learning outcomes. At the end of the meeting, dialogue was opened where the Dean responded to the questions and inquiries of the faculty members regarding all topics related to improving the educational process and the Faculty status such as guidance, stumbled students, graduate studies and various courses.
