The AAU Faculty of Nursing Holds A Meeting with the Newly Enrolled Students

The AAU Faculty of Nursing held an acquainting meeting with the newly enrolled students. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Amal Al-Daghistani, Heads of Departments and faculty members. In the gathering which was held on Wednesday, 6/11/2019, the Dean welcomed the new students and explained to them the aim of this meeting. She also talked about the importance of achieving distinction in the Nursing program and attaining world classification in its performance. She emphasized the significance of the student’s role in decision making and she concentrated on the open-door policy that the Faculty adheres to. Dr. Amal also explained the importance of the principles and values in creating an active environment in teaching and learning. During the meeting, the Deputy Dean and Heads of Departments talked about the axes related to quality, reliability and departments of the Faculty. A briefing was also given about the rapporteurs of the various committees in the Faculty such as the academic guidance, hindrance students and student activities, in addition to discussing the practical training instructions and the exams system. The meeting was concluded with the section “Your Eye Is on the Future” presented by the Azar Company for Human Resources Solutions.
