The AAU Faculty of Law Hosts An Awareness Lecture on Integrity and Anti-Corruption
The AAU Faculty of Law hosted an awareness lecture titled “Integrity and Anti- Corruption” in the Dr. Ahmad Al-Hourani Theater. The lecture was performed by the Integrity & Anticorruption Commission (JIACC) and was attended by the AAU faculty members and students. Dr. Muhammad Al-Ukoor, the Head of the Private Investigation Department and Dr. Bushra Abu Fayyadh, a researcher in the (JIACC) Awareness Department. The two speakers presented a detailed explanation about the legal and societal role of the Commission and its mechanism in receiving reports and complaints and its role in encircling corruption in all its types and preventing its circulations and narrowing its effects for the purpose of maintaining the national resources and in fixing the values of integrity and individual and institutional criteria and strengthening the values of good governance and the supremacy of law and accountability, justice, equal opportunities which set the foundation for anti-corruption environment. At the end of the lecture, the speakers answered audience’s questions and the Faculty thanked the representatives of the Commission.
