The AAU Faculty of Arts & Sciences Welcomes its New Students for the Academic Year 2020-2021

The AAU Deanship of the Faculty of Arts & Sciences organized an enlightenment meeting for the new students on Wednesday, 18/12/2020 via the Microsoft Teams platform. At the beginning of the meeting, students were welcomed and introduced to Al-Ahliyya Amman University and its leadership in the field of private education in Jordan and the Arab region as well as the international and local accreditations obtained by Al-Ahliyya Amman University. This meeting introduced the Faculty of Arts & Sciences and its academic departments, its vision, mission, objectives and core values, in addition to introducing its facilities and the moral and logistical support which it provides to its students. This meeting also highlighted the importance of academic advising and introduced students to the advisory plans. Moreover, the heads of departments urged students to persevere and compete with each other to obtain the highest ranks and to participate in co-curricular activities and community service provided by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Faculty. Students were also introduced to their rights and responsibilities by presenting the Student Rights & Responsibilities Document.At the end of the meeting, questions were raised by students and a dialogue was opened, and all documents that were submitted electronically during the meeting were attached to the students via Microsoft Teams.
