The AAU Faculty of Arts & Sciences Hosts A Lecture by Major Anas Al-Tantawi of the Anti - Narcotics Department Titled “Drugs and Its Effects on Society”

In the frame of fulfilling the AAU vision, mission and objectives and activating cooperation with the local community, the Faculty of Arts & Sciences hosted Major Anas Al-Tantawi, the Head of the Department of Awareness, education and Information section in the Anti-Narcotics Department to deliver a lecture titled Drugs and its Effect on Society”. The lecture which took place on Wednesday, 14/11/2018 was attended by the Dean of the Faculty and a number of Faculty members and students. The lecture covered a number of axes related to drugs, its types, causes and means of prevention and treatment. At the end of the lecture which was moderated by Dr. Sawsan Badrakhan of the Department of Human & Social Sciences, students and faculty members put forth a number of questions and ideas for discussion which in turn witnessed a distinguished interaction.
