The AAU Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences Commences A Reception for the New Students

As directed by Prof. Ghalib Erekat, the Dean of the AAU Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences, the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences commenced its activities for the academic year 2019-2020 with a reception for the new students on Thursday, 24/10/2019 at the Nizar Qabbani Theater.The ceremony included academic guidance and directives, sections and several speeches, including the speech of the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ali Al-Atoum who talked about the specializations offered in the faculty, namely Medical Laboratory Sciences, Hearing & Speech, Optics and Cosmetology.Dr. Khalid Al-Qaisi, the Vice Dean for Quality Affairs, also talked about the University's vision, mission and core values, and called upon students to participate in curricular and co-curricular activities. Dr. Al-Qaisi also reviewed with the students the AAU code of ethics and the website of the University and Faculty. It is worth mentioning that this event was managed and prepared by Dr. Zeina Alami. The event included several entertaining sections such as a comedy play prepared and performed by the faculty students, various sections of poems, thoughts, competition prepared by the Department of Public & International Relations and a video prepared by students about the faculty. At the end of the reception, the new students took souvenir photos and the students who participated in these sections and organization of the event were honored.
