The AAU Department of Public & International Relations Honors the Staff who Prepared the AAU Advertisement

The AAU Department of Public & International Relations honored students who participated in preparing the University Advertisement for the academic year 2017-2018. This Advertisement was directed and prepared by students of the Department of Cinema/Film Television and Theater Design in the Faculty of Architecture and Design and was funded by the University. It introduced a new idea in the field of university advertisement. It narrates a short story about children’s ambition and their future desire and links it with specializations and services provided in the University. This is part of the University mission to achieve an academic environment that supports creativity, involves students in decision – making and supports their desires in organizing and preparing events and encouraging them to innovate. Hence, the University will be the first to adopt and support their works and projects which enhance their confidence and develop their experiences. Students who participated in preparing the advertisement presented a model of an integrated work team in terms of directing, preparing, designing location, photography, production, lighting and customs selection. The crew of the film included the following students: Feras Al-Kiswani as a director, Husam Abu Theyab as a film producer, Ismail Al-Amaireh as an assistant producer, Ahmad Al-Shaweesh as a second assistant director, Amr Bayumi as a lighting and photography manager, Natali Hudali as location manager, Asem Nammary as an assistant location manager and Natali Al-Kiswani as a set decorator. The film was acted by Maher Saleh, Sara Ibrahim, Eman Sultan as well as Nael Amjad, Ahmad Hafez and other University students and graduates in addition to an external supportive team. The advertisement which will be broadcasted on television channels and social media will be the university official advertisement for the academic year 2017-2018. The Dean of the Faculty of Architecture & Design, Prof. Ihsan Fathi, the Head of the Department of Film, Television and Theater Design, Dr. Firas Al-Raimoni attended the honoring ceremony. The Director of the Department of Public & International Relations handed the participants certificates of Appreciation and souvenirs for their exerted efforts.
