The AAU Department of Optics Holds A Day to Raise Awareness about Vision Correction

The AAU Department of Optics held a day to raise awareness about vision correction on Sunday, 17/2/2019 in the University Department of Admission & Registration building. This event took place under the supervision of Dr. Yazan Qamwa, Dr. Bahaa El-Din Gabr and the laboratory supervisor Esraa Al-Dahyyat. This day came within the awareness scope of the Department of Optics about the importance of its social mission toward the visual impairment diseases and treatment and toward providing students with the correct information about vision correction. In this day, vision examination was conducted for 100 students by using the measuring visual acuity device and the corneal topography device (the topography Examination of the cornea surface). The campaign was appreciated by all the students who were examined by their colleagues in the Optics Department.
