The AAU Department of Film, Television and Theater Design Organizes A Reception for the New Students (13/11/2018)

Under the patronage of Dr. Rama Al-Rabadi, the AAU Dean of the Faculty of Architecture & Design, the Department of Film, Television & Theater Design organized a reception for the new students on Wednesday, 7/11/2018. The Dean of the Faculty commenced the reception with a speech where she welcomed the students and the attendees, provided a quick glimpse about the Faculty and its majors and wished students success. After that, the event was marked by a variety of presentations and films. Then, Prof. Jamal Ajour, the Head of the Department, provided a presentation where he explained the nature of the specialization and its importance to the labor market and pointed out the most important skills that students acquire during their period of study. Dr. Karim Fadel also presented a short film, which he directed, where he highlighted the production of cinematic, television and theater content through the use of computer software and its applications in the manufacture of cinematic effects and tricks. It is worth noting that in this reception which was moderated by Dr. Walid Al Obeidi where outstanding students of the Department were honored.
