The AAU Department of Architecture Organizes A Reception for the New Students (13/11/2018)

Under the patronage of Dr. Rama Al-Rabadi, the AAU Dean of the Faculty of Architecture & Design, the student of the Department of Architecture organized a reception for the new students in attendance of the Department academic & administrative staffs on Wednesday, 7/11/2018.The reception included a presentation for Dr. Saba Nasirat, the Head of the Department where she talked about the Architecture Specialization and was followed by a film which showed some of the Department’s activities during the previous semesters. During the event, another presentation by a group of the Department’ students focused on another student group which was established in the Department. This group aimed to create an interactive and collaborative environment among the new students, deepen the bonds of interdependence among students, help them during their first steps in the specialization and guide them to any element that supports their academic march. At the end of the reception, the Dean of the Faculty honored the outstanding students in the Department for the purpose of disseminating the spirit of competition and excellence among the students. The event was accompanied by an exhibition that included the work of the students from different academic years and activities for architectural competition for all students to design a logo for the new student group and to evaluate the proposed designs. The new students toured in the University facilities to be acquainted with the University and all the facilities that support their academic and university life.
