The AAU Debate Team Participates in the Fifth International Universities Arabic Debating Championship

The AAU debate team participated in the Fifth International Universities Arabic Debating Championship which was held in the Qatar National Convention Center Doha / Qatar. The championship aimed to spread the Arabic language as a non-traditional innovative means, to give an opportunity for non-Arabic speakers of young people to participate in such competitions and championships and to test their language and leadership skills. In this championship which is the largest one in the world of debates, the AAU team has a unique experience in the fields of art of debating, constructive intellectual dialogue and how to use the standard Arabic language in the best use. Jordan was represented by the following university teams: AAU, the University of Jordan and the Princess Sumaya University for Science & Technology, which beat the Qatar University team in debates. More than 107 teams represented 50 countries from all over the world participated in this championship.
