The AAU Deanship of Student Affairs Organizes A Reception for the New Students in Cooperation with the Umniah Company

Under the patronage of the AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan, the Deanship of Student Affairs in cooperation with the Umniah Company organized a reception for the new students on Sunday, 27/10/2019. The reception included competitions and interesting games presented by the Umniah Company to students during which the winners were handed valuable prizes. The student’s guide was also distributed to the new students to familiarize them with the AAU facilities and all what they need during their study. The Office of Career Guidance & Graduates Follow-up introduced students to the services provided by the Office such as offering courses and providing temporary employment opportunities for the University students and job opportunities for the University graduates. This event was attended by the King Abdullah II Fund “Forus Portal”, the National Democratic Institute “Ana Usharek”, the Pioneers Academy and the All Jordan Youth Commission. This event included an introductory day where the new students were familiarized with student clubs including the Public Health Club, the Voluntary Club, the “Athar” Club for Hearing & Speech, the Culture & Literature Club and the Mind & Self Club. Members of the administrative board of each club attended this day and opened the door for students to join their clubs according to their inclinations. Each club also introduced its activities and goals to the new students.
