The AAU Deanship of Scientific Research Holds A Workshop Titled “Apiceuticals”

Under the patronage of the AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan, the Deanship of Scientific Research hosted Prof. Anant Paradkar, Professor of Pharmaceutical Engineering Sciences from Bradford University, UK and Dr. James Fearnley, the Chief Executive Officer of the Nature’s Labital Limited York Company – UK to hold two workshops titled “Process Analytical Technology (Pat) and Quality by Design (QBD) Apiceuticals”. The workshops which were held in cooperation with Prof. Ashuk Shakia, the Vice Dean of Scientific Research, took place on Sunday & Monday, 9-10/12/2018 in the Mahmud Darweesh Theater. The AAU Vice President, Prof. Sulaiman Al-Lawzi, the Dean of Scientific Research, Prof. Ekhlas Al-Tarawneh, the Dean of Scientific Research, faculty members and students in the Faculties of Pharmacy, Engineering and Nursing attended the workshops. These workshops dealt with the uses of (Propolise) substance produced by bees in treating many diseases and extracting many drugs and medicines. It is worth mentioning that these workshops are unique in this field and are scientifically modern and they are part of an international joint research work between AAU, Bradford University and the English Natural Laboratories. At the end of the event, the Vice President Prof. Sulaiman Al-Lawzi and the Dean of Scientific Research, Prof. Ekhlas Al-Tarawneh handed the AAU shield to Prof. Anant Paradkar and to Dr. James Fearnley as an expression of gratitude and appreciation for this valuable participation.
