The AAU Carries Out “the Ramadan Ifttar” Initiative

The Deanship of Student Affairs at the AAU organized the “Ramadan Ifttar” initiative for the second consecutive year. The initiative aimed to reduce traffic accidents on the roads which usually result from excessive speed right before “Ifttar”. This campaign which represents the AAU human responsibility toward the community make available simple “Ifttar” meals for drivers and passengers in a number of squares and crowed traffic areas in the streets of Amman. This campaign which is repeated four times during the month of Ramadan intends to show that life of people is more important than excessive speed which leads to death. It is worth mentioning that the first campaign took place at the “Interior Ministry Square” and was followed by similar ones at “Al-Waha Square”, the “Sports City Square” and the “North Bus Complex”. Moreover, students of the AAU along with members of its student clubs distributed additional packages of goodness to the chaste families in the Balqa Governorate.
