Tennis Championship for Al-Ahliyya Amman University Students
The Deanship of Student Affairs, Division of Sports Activity at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, organized a Tennis Championship on Friday, 19/4/2013, on the Orthodox Club courts in Amman. The Championship aims to improve the athletic performance of the students. Student Maen Abu Sheikha of the Faculty of Architecture and Design came first place for the third time in a row after beating Mohammed Shaheen Serbst of the Faculty of Administrative & Financial Sciences in the finals by 7/5. Student Yahya Omari of the Faculty of Architecture and Design came third after winning over Haitham Mohammed Ghanem of the Faculty of Administrative & Financial Sciences who came fourth. The Championship was characterized by strong competition, high sportsmanship, good performance, and distinctive skills by the participating students. The trophy and medals were handed over to the winners in this competition. Sports activities will continue as planned by the Student Affairs, Division of Sports Activity, Al-Ahliyya Amman University, in order to attract outstanding athletic students in a bid to ensure the sustainability of a remarkable level of sport activities.
