Summary of the Faculty of Arts activities for the academic year 2008/2009 and the first semester 2009/2010

The Faculty of Arts presented a summary of its extracurricular activities for the academic year 2008/2009 and the first semester 2009/2010. Most prominently, these activities include hosting a remarkable group of men of thought in Jordan, holding a number of conferences, seminars and workshops relevant to e-learning and quality control. The Faculty has also held many galleries for Arab artists. In terms of local community service, and engaging with its institutions, the Faculty has participated in Madrasati project, prepared plays, and trained its students on their performance in deaf and dumb schools. In addition, the Faculty took part in Amman Marathon for raising funds for the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, and participated with student recruitment unit (LKD), KAFA (Enough) Organization, and Lena Foundation for Innovation in Education. The Faculty of Arts, Department of English Language, released two cultural journals: Mosaic and uvoice. The Faculty will also release Saltos Cultural journal soon.
