“Study Plans Detailed Model” at Al-Ahliyya Amman University
The Study Plans Committee at Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a workshop to discuss the detailed model of study plans at the University level. Dr. Inam Khalaf/Vice President for Academic Affairs outlined the framework and concepts for the development of the study plans approved by the University, and certified by the Council of Deans. Emphasis was placed on the need to implement the general framework of the model study plans upon developing or amending the study plan in line with accreditation standards and requirements of higher education institutions and observing a set of items, including making use of the findings of the studies conducted by the Studies Unit Centre, which included a (graduate, student , and employer questionnaire) so as to reflect the findings and recommendations of the revised study plans, in addition to discussing and approving the study plans by the Study Plans Committee in the departments and faculties of the University, as well as other items and commitments that describe the procedures for amending the study plans at Al-Ahliyya Amman University. The meeting was attended by deans of faculties and their deputies, heads of departments, members of the Study Plans Committee at the University level and Director of Quality Assurance Office.
