Students of the Faculty of Information Technology qualify for the second level in the Huawei International Communications and Technology Competition

The Faculty of Information Technology at Al-Ahliyya Amman University participated in the Huawei International Communications and Technology Practice 2022 Competition (ICT) which consists of three levels (national, regional, and global). The Huawei Competition is held annually, aiming to develop the talents of students', build their knowledge capabilities in the field of networks & communications along with boosting the creativity of students. Henceforth, the competition was held remotely at the local level on the days Sunday and Monday 30-31/10/2022 with the participation of more than 150 competitors from various Jordanian public and private universities. Our Faculty of Information Technology was represented by the students: Anas Al-Zuhoor, Malek Anas and Mohammad Al-Khalidi under the supervision of a great cadre of faculty members.The IT students at Al-Ahliyya Amman University were qualified for the second (regional) stage of the competition among 22 contestants from other universities. The Dean of the Information Technology Faculty, Prof. Omar Al-Adwan praised the students’ efforts, expressing his sincere pride and appreciation for their determination and distinction. Dr. Al-Adwan encouraged the students to participate in extracurricular activities and various competitions per their role in refining their skills and raising their ability to compete in the labor market.
