Students of the Faculty of Arts, Psychology Department, visit Drug Control Administration

On Sunday, 12/01/2013, Dr. Basma Al-Sharif accompanied a group of students of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Faculty of Arts, Psychology Department, on a visit to the Drug Control Administration, in order to learn about the Administration work and its role in reducing this harmful phenomenon. Colonel Khader Al- Khattab and Captain Anas Tantawi received the delegation. The students listened to a lecture on drug types and harmful effects, and methods of drug prevention and treatment. A film entitled “Bar’a’” was featured to raise awareness of the social dangers of drugs. Students toured the permanent exhibition to view drug types and smuggling methods. Leaflets and magazines issued by the Drug Control Administration were distributed to all students. At the end of the visit, the delegation thanked the Drug Control Administration for its cooperation and good reception and wished it further prosperity and progress.
