Student Council Union Elections in Al-Ahliyya Amman University

After nine years of suspending the Student Council Union elections, the elections of the Student Council Union were held on Wednesday 30-3-2011 at Al-Ahliyya Amman University. Voting took place from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. President of the University, Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, during his tour in the university faculties, confirmed that university elections is democratic practice for students and qualify them after graduation to undergo the real experience for the benefit of the community. He said that he was happy with this day and with student interaction, which shows significant awareness. He was satisfied with the electoral process so far, which went smoothly. All posters and leaflets of the candidates were within the faculties and there was no photo or poster on the external yards of the University.
