Student Ahmed Rasras makes waves at the "LEADERS 2030" Arab Nation Leaders Preparation Program!
Ahmed Walid Rasras, from the Faculty of Law at AAU, took center stage at the "LEADERS 2030" program, a dynamic collaboration between the Association of Arab Universities and the Leaders Preparation Institute at Luxor University in Egypt. This notable event, held from January 27 to February 1, 2024, under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ayman Ashour, and the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, brought together 200 students from 20 Arab nations.
Amro Ezzat Salama, the Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, hailed the presence of these young pioneers, recognizing them as architects of tomorrow's world, embodying innovation, achievement, and a relentless drive for excellence. Salama stressed the vital importance of empowering youth, tapping into their boundless potential, and providing them with the tools to shape a bright future.
Dr. Hamdi Hussein, President of Luxor University, urged the youth to embrace knowledge and technological advancements, positioning Arab universities at the forefront of innovation. He underscored the significance of programs like these, fostering connections between Egyptian and Arab universities, and nurturing a new generation of leaders.
Dr. Kareem Hamaam, the minister's advisor and director of the Leaders Preparation Institute, emphasized the program's goal: to mold young leaders who will become ambassadors for their nations and champions of sustainable development. He highlighted the Arab youth's pivotal role in shaping the future, describing them as beacons of creativity and resilience.
This remarkable journey was made possible by the unwavering support of AAU, led by Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Professor Sari Hamdan, University President. Their commitment to student development ensures that tomorrow's leaders are equipped to tackle the challenges of a rapidly evolving world.
