Sports activity in the Faculty of Information Technology 2011/2012

Track and Field: As part of the sports activities held by the Department of Sports Activity in the Deanship of Student Affairs for the first semester of the academic year 2011/2012, the track and field team, 100 m race, representing the Faculty of Information Technology, participated in the event. The team included the following students: 1) Mahmoud Mohammed Said Abu Sheikha 201110698, 2) Muath Ibrahim Hassan Mu’ti 200720609, 3) Ahmed Omar Abu Al-Khair 200710506. Students Mahmoud and Muath came second and third at the level of the participating faculties of the University. Football: The Faculty students participated in the qualifying inter-faculty championship at the University level. The team lost in the semi-final match against the students of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences. We congratulate the Faculty team on their efforts and wish them better luck in the coming games. Amman International Marathon: Within the extracurricular sports activities, student Mohammed Omar Abdel Jawad Qasim, of the Faculty of Information Technology, participated in the organization of the Amman International Marathon on 28/10/2011. He had a prominent role within the volunteers team in preparing and organizing the event, and received a certificate of acknowledgment for his efforts. Sport activity coordinator Eng. Talal Haymour.
