Skills Day at Al-Ahliyya Amman University
In collaboration with Pioneers Training Academy, the Department of Public and International Relations at Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a training workshop entitled “Skills Day”. The workshop featured a number of topics, namely, interview art, presentation skills, in addition to (From the University to the Labor Market) theme. These lectures were presented by a number of experts and specialists in this field. On the whole, the lectures focused on enhancing students' interview abilities, how to deliver information briefly and easily and draw the attention of the employer to the applicant's actions during the interview, developing various life skills among students, the most employment requirements of the public and private sectors, and how to exploit the years of study to gain more life experience. The University organizes these events to qualify students, increase their competitiveness, strengthen management concepts at work and equip them with effective skills that enable them to enter the labor market easily. The specialists presented a range of advice and guidance to students about training courses that would enrich their practical experience according to their respective fields.At the end of the skills day, the Academy offered two training grants for the participating students. The Department of Public and International Relations presented gifts to the students who were able to answer the questions.
