Silk Screen Printing Workshop Empowers Art Teachers in Al-Jami’a Schools Group

The Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design at our university organized a workshop focused on silk screen printing techniques for art teachers within Al-Jami’a Schools Group. The workshop, led by Dr. Imran Hassan, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, and Mr. Mohammed Al-Samadi, a faculty member in the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design, along with administrative member Mohammed Ibrahim, took place at the theater of Al-Jami’a Schools Group. It attracted art teachers from twenty-three private schools in Amman. The workshop covered an introduction to silk screen printing techniques, the printing process, materials used, and theories and elements of drawing and design. Active participation from several art teachers involved the printing of various models of artworks during the workshop. This workshop's objective is to familiarize participants with technical skills in graphics, align with the faculty's goals of interacting and integrating with the local community, provide valuable experiences, and foster collaborative opportunities between academic institutions. The overarching aim is to create an open, sustainable, and supportive knowledge environment conducive to innovation.
