Signing a Memorandum of Understanding Between AAU and Al-Balqa Applied University

AAU participated in the launch event of the Bachelor's program in Smart Organic Agricultural Technology, organized by the Faculty of Agricultural Technology at Al-Balqa Applied University. This event, held under the patronage of the Minister of Agriculture, Engineer Khaled Al-Hanifat, was attended by our university president, Professor Sari Hamdan, and the President of Al-Balqa Applied University, Professor Ahmed Fakhri Al-Ajlouni. AAU's participation signifies its commitment to strengthening cooperation and integration with national and governmental universities to achieve sustainable development goals, particularly in the higher education sector. During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between our AAU's Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Al-Balqa Applied University's Faculty of Agricultural Technology. The memorandum, signed by the respective university presidents, Professor Ahmed Fakhri Al-Ajlouni and Professor Sari Hamdan, aims to enhance academic and scientific cooperation in modern agricultural technology and green technology transfer. This collaboration includes research, publication, research enhancement, technological innovation, and the preparation of applied research to foster partnership between the two institutions. The agreement also entails the exchange of educational resources and collaboration in joint research and training activities. Additionally, it emphasizes the exchange of professional expertise to develop programs and educational plans aligned with students' interests. Furthermore, the memorandum highlights the importance of joint community activities related to agriculture, underscoring the commitment of both universities to contribute to agricultural development in all its aspects.
