Seminar at Al-Ahliyya Amman University by Dr. Amjad Al-Arian on the transfer of expertise in the pharmacy industry
Driven by its concern for active and purposeful participation to raise students awareness of the importance of pharmacist field training, the Pharmacist Field Training Committee at Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosted Dr. Amjad Aryan, CEO of Pharmacy 1 Chain to address the issue of the transfer of expertise in the pharmacy industry.Dr. Amjad talked about his early Pharmacy education. He indicated the importance of resolve and strong determination to achieve ones aspiration and goals in life. He cited the challenges that faced him during his career path, which he was able to overcome thanks to his resilience. Pharmacy 1 now includes 58 branches in Jordan, 17 branches in Saudi Arabia, and 4 branches in Iraq. Dr. Aryan noted his ambition to open new branches in Lebanon. He explained that he chose Jordan, which was the starting point of his successes, due to the safety and security prevailing in Jordan. He added that about 20% of the staff of Pharmacy 1 are of Al-Ahliyya Amman University graduates. The meeting was attended by Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of AAU, deans, faculty members, administrative staff in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, a number of the Faculty students and members of the Pharmacist Field Training Committee.
