Samsung Electronics Levant Opens Its Exhibition at AAU and Signs a Memorandum of Understanding

Samsung Electronics Levant has inaugurated its exhibition on the campus of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, in a step aimed at enriching students’ learning experience and enabling them to explore the latest technological innovations. The opening was attended by the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Professor Ahmad Hamdan, along with representatives from both sides. The University President, Professor Sari Hamdan, expressed his pleasure in hosting the exhibition, describing it as a valuable addition to campus life. He emphasized that collaboration with a global company such as Samsung enhances students’ educational experience and enables them to actively engage in an advanced technological environment. For his part, the General Manager of Samsung Electronics Levant, Jong-Ho Kang, stated: “This exhibition represents an important step in our partnership with the university. It will enable students to experience the latest devices, technological solutions, and tools necessary to achieve their academic and professional aspirations. We are committed to supporting and empowering youth in Jordan through technology, preparing them to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving future.” The exhibition launch aligns with Samsung’s strategy under its “Technology Innovation” initiative, which aims to empower students to engage with cutting-edge technologies and develop future-ready skills in line with labor market demands, as part of its ongoing collaboration with Jordanian academic institutions. The exhibition offers students an interactive experience, allowing them to explore smartphones, tablets, laptops, smart displays, health devices, and home appliances, in addition to exclusive offers and special facilitation on Samsung products. On the sidelines of the exhibition, Al-Ahliyya Amman University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Samsung Electronics Levant to strengthen academic and research collaboration and to connect students and staff with the latest technological innovations. The agreement was signed by Professor Sari Hamdan, University President, and Jong-Ho Kang, General Manager of Samsung Electronics Levant, in the presence of officials from both sides.
