Quintet Football Championship at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

On behalf of HE Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Dr. Mustafa Atiyat, Dean of Student Affairs, in the presence of faculty and administrative members, and a large gathering of fan students, sponsored the final quintet football game within the interfaculty championship at the University , which was held with the aim of reducing university violence, creating a safe and sound campus environment, unloading emotions, and raising the level of physical efficiency and motor and skill abilities of the students.The game took place on the outdoor courts of the University between the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Law teams. The Faculty of Engineering team won by 4/3 in a highly competitive game that won the admiration of the audience and fans.The Dean of Student Affairs hailed the championship, which saw great and existing competition among the participating teams that reflected the spirit of sportsmanship exhibited by the students. He commended the efforts of the coordinators of sports activity in the faculties and their support for the implementation and success of the sport activities that have a good impact among students. He stressed the importance of sports and extracurricular activities in students’ life and the health, psychological and social benefits of such events and activities. At the end of the game, Dr. Mustafa Atiyat, Dean of Student Affairs, crowned the Faculty of Engineering team as champion of this championship, student Saddam Al-Awaisheh of the Faculty of Law as best player and top scorer of the championship, and student Mohannad of the Faculty of Engineering as best goalkeeper.
