Qualifying Al-Ahliyya Amman University’s students in the field of Electronic Health
Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Hakeem Academy - one of the initiatives for the Electronic Health Solutions (EHS) - signed a Memorandum of Understanding for qualifying Al-Ahliyya Amman University’s students in the field of Electronic Health.The Memorandum, which has been signed by the University President - Prof. Sadeq Hamed - and the Executive Manger of the Electronic Health Solutions (EHS) - Engineer Rami Udwan, aims to coordinate the cooperation between the two parties for qualifying the students the Nursing Faculty, and the Pharmacy & Medical Sciences Faculty in the fields of Electronic Health, and improving their scientific and practical skills, which includes consideration of amending or making additions to courses in the light of the students’ study plan. During the assigning, Prof. Hamed asserted that the University firmly believes in importance of the cooperation with the private sector in its various fields for allowing the students to gain the necessary skills that help them to get involved in the labor market efficiently and effectively. Eng. Rami Udwan, in his turn, said that the Company’s initiatives are not only restricted to the Health Institutions, but also included qualifying those who work in the sector, which has a positive effect on the health sector for providing a better health care for patients and customers in Jordan. The Company runs four initiatives: the national program for computerization of the health sector “Hakeem”, Jordan electronic medical library “Elm”, the Jordanian initiative for medical and health information, and Hakeem Academy.
