Professor Sari Hamdan Receives President of IEEE Jordan Section

Prof. Sari Hamdan, our president, welcomed Dr. Mousa Al-Akhras, President of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Jordan Section, accompanied by Dr. Khaled Jaber, Vice President of IEEE, and Dr. Moataz Riyalat, President of the Robotics and Automation Society of IEEE. The meeting was attended by several university officials, including the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Jamal Al-Nabulsi, the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Prof. Qasem Khurma, and Prof. Mahmoud Eskandarani, the branch advisor, along with the president of the IEEE student branch, Jude Haddad. During the meeting, the participants discussed potential areas of collaboration between the university and the IEEE to serve mutual interests and enhance the role of the student branch in preparing students for the job market. The visit also included a session with members of the IEEE student branch to exchange experiences and ideas on enhancing education and scientific research in these fields. At the end of the visit, the university president and the IEEE president exchanged commemorative shields in appreciation of the efforts made by both parties.
