Professor Sari Hamdan Meets with Acting Ambassador of the UAE in Jordan

Professor Sari Hamdan, Our President, met with Hamad Al Matrooshi, Acting Ambassador of the UAE in Jordan, to discuss avenues for mutual cooperation between AAU and UAE higher education institutions. Prof. Sari Hamdan provided a detailed overview of the university's achievements, aimed at enhancing its standards and excellence, particularly in meeting quality standards and global rankings. Last year, the university achieved an unprecedented milestone by being ranked 801-850 globally in the QS World University Rankings, third locally, and first among private universities in Jordan. Prof. Hamdan also emphasized the university's commitment to promoting scientific research and updating a comprehensive range of programs that align with the constantly changing job market requirements. He stressed the university's dedication to utilizing all its resources to serve its students and providing an optimal educational environment that enhances their abilities and helps them achieve their academic and professional goals. Acting Ambassador Hamad Al Matrooshi reaffirmed the deep fraternal ties between the two countries in all fields and expressed his pride in the academic level of Jordanian universities in general and AAU in particular. At the end of the visit, President Sari Hamdan presented the university's commemorative shield to Acting Ambassador Hamad Al Matrooshi, in recognition of his efforts in serving the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein.
