Professor Dr. Iyad Massad lectures at the Engineering Faculty of Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Prof. Dr. Iyad Massad, From Texas A&M University in the United States of America, lectured on Wednesday, 22 June 2022, in the presence of a group of faculty members, researchers and a number of master's students in the Faculty of Engineering - Department of Civil Engineering at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, and in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Professor Dr. Mutasem Abdul Jaber.It is worth mentioning that Professor Dr. Massad has developed innovative methods in the field of accurate characterization of the microscopic structure of materials in addition to his contributions to the computational modelling of the performance of vehicles on the roads. His research and work have contributed to improving sustainable road infrastructure designs. Dr. Massad participates in effective research groups and active programs in the United States and Qatar, and has published more than 400 papers and technical reports. During his career, he has received numerous prestigious academic and professional awards in recognition of his professional and academic contributions and research and administrative work, including the 2019 James Lowry Award from the Institute of Transportation and Development of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) fellowship. It was agreed with Professor Dr. Massad to work on a number of joint research between the research team he oversees and a group of researchers at Al-Ahliyya Amman University under the joint supervision of Professor Dr. Mutasem Abdul Jaber and Professor Dr. Iyad Massad.
