Prof. Sari Hamdan Participates in the Meetings of the Executive Office of the Arab Universities Sports Federation

The AAU President and the President of the Jordanian Universities Sports Federation, Prof. Sari Hamdan, participated in the meeting of the Executive Office of the Arab Universities Sports Federation which was held online on Tuesday 6/10/2020. This meeting was chaired by Dr. Saed Hamad Al-Hasani, the President of the Arab Universities Sports Federation and was attended by the elected members of the Executive Office for the fifth session 2020-2024. The participants reviewed experiences of several countries regarding the precautionary measures that they took for the safe return of sporting activity and they agreed to adopt a general framework for the measures that the Arab Universities Sports Federation would take in light of those experiences and to circulate an official protocol to all Arab universities sport federations as a guide.Furthermore, they approved the formation of the federation committees, whereby the candidates of the Jordanian Universities Sports Federation were approved, namely: Mr. Naser Al-Khawaldeh as a member of the Technical Committee and Mrs. Manal Banat as a member of the Women Sports Committee. They also discussed championships and games agenda to be held in 2021, at the end of the Corona pandemic. Meanwhile, the Jordanian Federation submitted a request to host the (3*3) basketball and the Taekwondo Championships. They also agreed to hold the meeting of the executive office every two months to follow up recommendations and decisions.
