Prof. Mohammad Al-Tanani meets the students of the Department of Cosmetic Sciences

Prof. Mohammad Al-Tanani, Dean of the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences and Dr. Khaled Al-Qaisi, Head of the Department of Cosmetic Sciences met with the students majoring in Cosmetic Sciences on Wednesday 23/11/2022, in the presence of the faculty and administrative members. Prof. Mohammad Al-Tanani highlighted the significance of the specialization and its high demand in the labor market as well as its fields of recruitment.Prof. Mohammad emphasized that this specialization is accredited by the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutes and the Ministry of Higher Education. Prof. Mohammad also noted that this specialization is accredited as a medical and health-care profession by the Prime Ministry, in response to the false information conveyed through the media recently. Dr. Safwan Al-Adwan, the Consultant Dermatologist and Cosmetologist and faculty member at Al-Ahliyya Amman University discussed the necessity of the cosmetology students’ roles in showing high skills and commitment at work, which will reflect on the good reputation and image of the graduates from this specialization at the University of Al-Ahliyya Amman. Additionally, obtaining a BA degree in Cosmetic Sciences will grant students with higher opportunities to work in dermatology clinics and beauty centers. A Q&A session was started between the head of the Cosmetic Sciences Department and the students to answer their inquiries and questions.
