Prof. Mohammad Al-Tanani delivers An Introductory Lecture on Establishing A “Pharmacological & Diagnostic Research Center (PDRC)” at AAU

The Dean of the AAU Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Mohammad Al-Tanani, delivered a lecture on the Faculty’s under construction research center. The lecture was attended by the AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan, the Vice President, Prof. Michel Sweidan, the Dean of Scientific Research, Prof. Khalid Al-Kaabneh, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Bassam Mahasneh, and the faculty members of the Faculties of Pharmacy, Allied Medical Sciences and Engineering.This lecture included a definition of the vision, mission and objectives of the research center and the aspirations of Prof. Mohammed Al-Tanani. Prof. Al-Tannani hopes that the research center will be a pioneer at the international level and capable of producing high quality research locally and internationally at all stages of research, beginning with the identification of gaps in the existing strategies and the current treatments and ending with the marketing of discovered products.At the end of the lecture, the University President, Prof. Sari Hamdan, praised the efforts exerted by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the team responsible for equipping the research center. He also stressed the need for cooperation between researchers in various fields to carry out high-quality research to upgrade the University level and to improve the global international classification of the University.
