Princess Sumaya sponsors the closing ceremony of “Young People: Reality vs. Ambition” Conference

HRH Princess Sumaya bint Al-Hassan sponsored yesterday the closing events of the Third Scientific Conference “Young People: Reality vs. Ambition”, organized by the Supreme Council for Youth in Al-Hussein Youth City, in collaboration with Al-Ahliyya Amman University and wide Arab participation. The participants in the Conference, which was held in Al-Ahliyya Amman University and lasted for three days, recommended creating extensive opportunities for constructive interaction between young people and their families and between young people and educators in order to enhance knowledge, expertise, and psychological presence in a form that develops the spirit of belonging and loyalty among young people to their communities. The participants recommended the development of competitive and attractive Arabic media for young people that reflects the authentic Eastern and Arab values and fosters youth loyalty to their homelands. The recommendations also called for considering the cultural specificity of the youth in all Arab countries and creating research centers concerned with young people and their issues. The conference was attended by representatives from Tunisia, Lebanon, Egypt, and Palestine, as well as academic institutions and Arab youth bodies engaged in youth activities.
