Princess Alia bint Al Hussein Patronizes the Opening of the Digital Transformation Conference (ICDFB 2025) at AAU
Her Royal Highness Princess Alia bint Al Hussein today inaugurated, at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the International Conference on Digital Transformation, FinTech, and Business Innovation (ICDFB 2025), with the participation of a distinguished group of experts, academics, and researchers from various countries. Attending the conference were the University President, Prof. Sari Hamdan, along with the vice presidents, the President’s assistant, several deans, and members of the academic and administrative staff, in addition to representatives of academic and economic institutions and leading companies in technology and business.
Opening the conference, the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Prof. Sultan Al-Masaeed, delivered a welcome address in which he greeted the patron of the event, Her Royal Highness Princess Alia bint Al Hussein, and the guests and participants from inside and outside Jordan. He affirmed that the conference serves as a leading scholarly platform for discussing the latest trends in digital transformation, financial technology, and innovation in today’s business environment. Prof. Al-Masaeed noted that convening the conference aligns with Al-Ahliyya Amman University’s vision to foster an academic climate that stimulates research and creativity and to support initiatives in digital transformation and entrepreneurship in step with rapid developments in the knowledge economy.
The conference witnessed broad participation by researchers and experts from a number of Arab and foreign countries, who presented papers addressing the latest global developments and experiences in digital transformation, financial technology, and institutional innovation, in addition to discussions on cooperation opportunities between universities and research centers. The conference aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise and knowledge among academics, practitioners, and decision-makers and to reinforce the University’s pioneering role in supporting innovation and scientific research in the region.
