During a press conference, Dr. Al-Hourani stated that the achievements accomplished at the university were the result of collective efforts by a team of specialized leaders and the media, which played a significant role in presenting the truth transparently. Dr. Hamdan mentioned that the graduates of the university have become exportable products to foreign countries, and they hold leadership positions, which is a source of pride. Dr. Al-Saud emphasized that the achievement was a result of adhering to the university's standards set in its 2019 plan, focusing on the quality rather than the quantity of research and encouraging participation. Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, the head of the board of directors at Amman University, stressed that the recent achievement of being ranked among the top 1000 universities in the world was not a sudden development, but rather the outcome of continuous efforts by a team of specialized leaders within the university. He thanked the university community, including the president, vice presidents, deans, professors, and staff, for their collective efforts that led to this remarkable success. He stated that the university's goal is to select leaders rather than employees who merely wait for their monthly salary. The university is committed to building strong institutions and developing leaders who can drive the university forward and embrace the principles set by the late founder, Dr. Ahmad Al-Hourani. Dr. Hamdan revealed that faculty members who produced valuable research, with approval from the Board of Trustees for publishing at least two research papers each year, contributed significantly to the university's success. In 2018, the number of research papers was 48, but thanks to the dedication of the university team, it increased to 600 this year. Dr. Hamdan also mentioned that the university is preparing to open a dental college at a cost of 15 million dinars in September of the current year. The college will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. Furthermore, the university has invested 2 million dinars in developing the laboratories of the faculties of medicine and pharmacy and another million dinars for the establishment of the College of Culinary Arts. The university has supported the Al-Salt Secondary School, a symbol of educational excellence in Jordan, by providing a fully equipped computer laboratory. Additionally, the university supported the Al-Salt Sports Club and the Greater Salt Municipality, showing that the university is not isolated but rather open to the local community, striving to support them within its capacity and the framework of the law. Dr. Hamdan highlighted that the university's team has been working diligently for over 4 and a half years through research, participation in local and international conferences, and collaboration with government and private universities as a national duty to elevate Jordanian universities, both public and private. They have also established agreements with important Arab and international universities. Dr. Hamdan also mentioned that the university is in the process of introducing new specializations that cater to the requirements of the local, Arab, and global job markets, aiming to elevate the university and showcase it among the top-ranked institutions worldwide. He emphasized that the university is striving to produce exportable quality products, a result of its dedicated efforts, to represent us as ambassadors locally and globally. The president also praised the university's graduates for their competence in the job market. Dr. Anas Al-Saud, Vice President for International Relations and Quality, presented the university's history as the first private university in the Kingdom, comprising 330 faculty members, of whom 35% hold professorial degrees, and 27% are non-Jordanians, a relatively high percentage. The university has 14 colleges, 33 undergraduate programs, and 18 master's programs. The university accommodates 7,000 students, with 55% males and 45% females, and an impressive 56% of non-Jordanian students.
