"President of Amman University Emphasizes the Importance of High-Quality Scientific Research and Honors Outstanding Researchers"

President of Amman University, Dr. Sari Hamdan, met with faculty members at the university in the presence of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Mousleh Al-Tarawneh, and the Vice President for International Relations and Quality, Prof. Dr. Anas Al-Saoud. The meeting began with a briefing from the university president about the strategic goals for the current academic year, emphasizing the importance of upholding the ethics of teaching and scientific research and fostering mutual respect among faculty members and students. Dr. Hamdan also stressed the importance of respecting the university's administrative hierarchy within the colleges. The university president emphasized the importance of qualitative applied scientific research, especially research conducted in collaboration with prestigious international universities. The Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Mousleh Al-Tarawneh, discussed the importance of faculty members familiarizing themselves with university regulations and guidelines to understand their rights and responsibilities and the need to align academic programs with international standards. Prof. Dr. Anas Al-Saoud, Vice President for International Relations and Quality, highlighted the university's achievements, including its ranking as the top Amman University in Jordan and its global ranking in terms of international students, foreign faculty members, academic reputation, and reputation among employers. In conclusion, President Dr. Sari Hamdan honored five researchers who were ranked in the top 2% of researchers worldwide, based on Stanford's ranking: Prof. Dr. Iman Al-Nazli, College of Nursing and Dean of Research. Prof. Dr. Manal Ahmed Abbas, College of Allied Medical Sciences. Dr. Abdulrahman Hamza, College of Information Technology. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Sameed Al-Adwan, College of Business. Dr. Ibrahim Assi, College of Engineering.
