President of Amman Al-Ahliyya University meets the Minister of Higher Education of Yemen

Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed - President of Amman Al-Ahliyya University - met Dr. Mohammed Mether- Minister of Higher Education in the Republic of Yemen. During the meeting, they discussed fields of cooperation between the university and Yemen's universities by exchanging the academic experiences where President of the university gave a detailed explanation on phases of university's development and programs/courses that they offer as well as postgraduate programs, stating that the university undertook progression and excellence administratively and academically for reaching outstanding academic outcomes that met with needs of the local and Arabic labor market, adding the real and great consideration given to international students and especially Yemenis students by the university. The President also pointed out the high manners of Yemenis students who study at the university stating that they are a honor and glory to the university.The Minister of higher education - for his part- expressed his gratitude and thankfulness to the University for what AAU offer to Yemenis students where this reflects the cooperation, the mutual respect, and the outstanding relations between the two countries and praising the high academic reputation for Amman Al-Ahliyya University locally, regionally, and internationally. On the other side of this visit, The Minister- along with President of the University- checked the exams' rooms of secondary and elementary phases, which are held at the university campus because of the circumstances and events that face the Republic of Yemen, commending the high-level of procedures that were dealt out by the University while implementing the exams and what the university offered of an appropriate environment for students in their exams. He also thanked the University for standing with the Yemenis in their adversity.As Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed ensured that the university consumes all its capabilities to stand for the Yemenis in the Republic of Yemen based on visions of His Majesty King Abdullah II to stand with his nation and Arab communities.It is to point out that number of applicants for exams of the secondary and elementary phases nearly 230 student.
