President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University receives the Kuwaiti Cultural Attaché

His Excellency Professor Dr. Maher Saleem, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, received Dr. Attiya Al-Shammari, the Cultural Counselor of the State of Kuwait in Jordan. At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the University welcomed Dr. Atiya al-Shammari to Jordan and congratulated him on the occasion of assuming his office as cultural attaché of the State of Kuwait in Jordan. Dr. Saleem praised the deep and strong relations between the two countries which were consolidated by His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Sheikh Sabah Al -Ahmad Al- Sabah. Dr. Saleem underscored the close ties between Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Kuwaiti higher education institutions aimed at raising the level of education in the region. During the meeting, the two sides discussed several matters of mutual interest in higher education and research. Dr. Attiya Al-Shammari expressed his admiration for Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the first private university in Jordan, stressing his commitment to continuous and fruitful cooperation with the presidency of the University for the benefit of both parties. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Shammari thanked Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem for the warm reception and generous hospitality.
