President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University Receives Kuwaiti Cultural Attache in Amman
His Excellency Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, received President Dr. Mohammed Thufairi, the Kuwaiti Cultural Attache in Jordan. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Sadeq welcomed Dr. Thufairi to Jordan and to Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the first private university in the region. During the meeting, Dr. Thufairi was briefed on the establishment and development of the University, and the bachelors and masters programs offered at the University. Dr. Thufairi was reassured by Dr. Sadeq on the situation of the Kuwaiti students enrolled in the University. On the sidelines of the meeting, the President of the University together with the Kuwaiti cultural attaché met Kuwaiti students in the presence of deans, during which they listened to student-related inquiries which were addressed. Speaking to the students, Dr. Thufairi noted that they are in their country and that there is no difference between Jordan and Kuwait. Dr. Thufairi conveyed his gratitude to the President for his cordial reception, stressing that he takes pride in what he experienced in the University. He praised the services provided to students by the University administration which assist them throughout their study, and help them overcome any difficulties. Dr. Thufairi wished the University further progress and success.
