President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University receives five university presidents and higher education officials in Jordan
Pof. Dr. Maher Saleem, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, received HE Prof. Dr. Adnan Badran, President of Petra University, Prof. Dr. Marwan Kamal, President of Philadelphia University, Prof. Dr. Essam Zaabalawi, President of the Arab Academy for Banking, Prof. Dr. Saleh Hashem, Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities, and HE Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hamdan, former Minister of Higher Education, in order to discuss ways of cooperation between higher education institutions with a view to raising the level of the educational process in Jordan and pushing it forward. During the visit, various issues were addressed, including admission rules, university bridging, foreign students, the level of higher education in the Kingdom, relations among private universities and with public universities, and the need to apply all laws and legislation, without distinction or exception. Participants confirmed the importance of Jordanian universities accreditation, as Jordan is one of quality assurance pioneers in the Arab world. At the end of the meeting, the guests toured several facilities in the University and praised the University outstanding development and the new technologies offered by the University.
